Privacy Policy
In plain English: what we collect, why, where it lives, and how to see it, fix it or delete it.
hifanc.com is run by FANC. This policy explains what personal information the site collects, what happens to it, and what your rights are. For anything at all about your data, write to office@hifanc.com.
What we collect
When you join the list: your first name, your email address, and the fact that you ticked the box agreeing to receive emails from us.
Technical information: like every website, the servers that deliver this site (Cloudflare) automatically log basic technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you opened. This is used only to run and secure the site.
The self-check on the home page runs entirely in your own browser. Nothing you tick there is sent to us.
Why we use it
- To send you new articles, letters, and news and offers about FANC, because you asked us to. The legal basis for this is your consent.
- To run and protect the website.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email, or by writing to us. We never sell your details or hand them to anyone for their own marketing.
Who processes it for us
- Rav Messer (Responder): our email system. Your name, email and consent are stored there, and the emails are sent from there.
- Cloudflare: hosts this site and the small server that passes your sign-up to the email system.
- Google: only if the email system is ever unreachable, a sign-up is kept in a private Google Sheet so it isn't lost, and added to the list by hand.
These providers may store data outside your country, including in Israel (which the European Commission recognises as providing adequate protection) and the United States.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies and does not use tracking or advertising tools. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your permission first.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as you are on the list. When you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you. If you ask, we will delete your details completely.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy of it, or to object to how it is used. Write to office@hifanc.com and we will answer within a month. If you are in the EU or the UK and you are not happy with our answer, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Your details travel over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and are stored with established providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.
Children
This site is written for women over 40 and is not meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with its date.
